KOJIC DI-PALMITATE Description Kojic Dipalmitate, also known as KAD, is a di-esterified derivative of Kojic Acid. It is considered to be superior to Kojic Acid in its whitening capability and is more stable than Kojic Acid in cosmetic formulations. It may lighten the skin by preventing the production of tyrosine, the amino acid that is responsible for producing melanin. It also works as an effective antioxidant in skin care products and helps with hyperpigmentation due to sunspots, age spots, and dark spots. KAD has the ability to act as a UV protector, and it has a wide range of applications in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. Especially used in serums and depigmentation creams, It may be found in various forms including powders, cleansers, and soap bars.
